Owner Appeals
Sometimes, for reasons beyond their control, some pet owners find themselves unable to care for their family pets any longer. In such cases many owners prefer to find a new and loving home for their pet rather than take it to a shelter or simply abandon it.
There are also many people who, out of the goodness of their hearts, take in stray and unwanted animals to foster but cannot keep them long-term and need to find new homes for them.
On this page you will find details of cats and dogs for which new homes are urgently being sought. Additional information about them can be found by clicking on the photograph or name.
If you are able to help please get in touch directly with the owner as soon as possible.
Please note that none of the animals on this page have been checked by APAH.
If you intend adopting one of these animals you should satisfy yourself that they are healthy or be prepared to pay any vets bills which may arise afterwards.
You should also ask the previous owner for all relevant documentation for the animal and get as much information as you can about its likes, dislikes, behaviour patterns etc.
If you have never had a pet before it may be wise to do a little research on the internet before committing yourself.
